Our Billing Department - Cindy & Julie

At CCRH, we understand that fertility treatments can be costly, and emotionally exhausting. We are also well aware that often very little if any insurance coverage and reimbursement is available for fertility testing and treatments for most patients. In addition to developing special affordable, low-cost programs that can reduce the financial burden and help you achieve your pregnancy in a less stressful manner, our medical billing department offers patients billing of any and all office visits and procedures at no additional charge.

With over 20 years of experience, Cindy and Julie, our medical billers work tirelessly on behalf of each patient in an attempt to obtain insurance payment for every visit and procedure. All billing is done electronically in house in an expeditious and efficient manner, with special care placed at correct coding to obtain maximal reimbursement in minimal time. Claims which require special authorization from insurance companies are addressed aggressively and any requested supporting paperwork (including medical records and medical necessity letters) is forwarded to the patient’s insurance company, with the patient’s approval, in a timely fashion. Recognizing the unfortunate integral role finances often play in receiving fertility care, our team of professionals strives to reduce financial stress, allowing patients to concentrate on optimizing their reproductive care instead.

Our billing department can be reached directly by telephone (866.998.8225 toll free, or 818.907.1571, or 310.998.5705).

Egg donation and gestational surrogacy are fertility treatments known as third-party reproduction. In third-party reproduction, patients or couples use another woman’s eggs and/or another woman’s uterus to conceive a child. As can be imagined, the process can be exceedingly complex, requiring an extensive coordination effort between multiple parties in order to achieve a successful outcome. For example, a typical egg donation cycle would require a complex network of communication between the ART center, the egg donation agency, the recipient individual/couples (intended parents), the egg donor, a genetic counselor, a psychologist, and a legal team. To complicate the matter further, specific FDA regulations and ASRM guidelines are imposed, which require extensive testing and screening of the various parties before the cycle can be performed, to help ensure a safe outcome. Poorly orchestrated, the process can be exceptionally stressful and may fail.

Our egg donation and surrogacy coordinator is Erica Lares. Erica is a certified medical assistant with over 15 years experience as a reproductive nurse.  In addition to her vast experience in helping IVF patients, Erica coordinates all egg donation and surrogacy cycles at our Center with support from her nursing colleagues.  She is always accessible to patients, extremely knowledgeable, confident, and most importantly caring. Every case is handled with professionalism and a real drive to achieve success for the intended parent(s). Erica’s intimate involvement in every egg donation and surrogacy cycle at our Center has led her to have meaningful strong bonds to her patients, who rely on her expertise to get them through even the most trying times.  A true asset to CCRH, Erica is a vital member of our fertility team playing an integral role in our successful egg donation and surrogacy program.

Erica can be reached directly by telephone (866.998.8225 toll-free, or 818.907.1571, or 310.998.5705) or by e-mail: erica@center4reproduction.com
